Quickbooks Scrub – Phase 2

How it’s done:

This is the start of our collaborative journey with you. Our mobilization.

We plan and schedule every step of the way.  From getting your QuickBooks Company file setup in the Cloud, to what we intend to Scrub.  Your Phase 1 Physical serves as our road map.  QuickBooks must be customized to fit each contractor’s unique situation.

Deliverables:

Setup of collaboration with you in the Cloud

Your QuickBooks Company file will be ready to implement Phase 3 – Monthly Accounting Oversight & Training. 

The QuickBooks Scrub is not a solution for past inadequacies in accounting.  Accounting adjustments to General Ledger balances are performed in Phase 3.

Things we Scrub:

  • Preferences, Chart of Accounts, and Lists
  • Balance Sheet presentation – Asset, Liability & Equity accounts
  • Payroll Liabilities
  • P&L COGS presentation – Direct, Indirect, & Equipment accounts
  • Establishing “NJS” (Not Job Specific) special Jobs for:
    Unapplied Labor & Burden; Equipment/Vehicles/Machinery; & Shop/Warehouse
  • P&L Expense presentation – General & Administrative accounts
